Youth Alliance GM: Recruiting Our Youth and Play Workforce

We often hear the youth and play sector is struggling to recruit youth workers and delivery support staff. We can often be competing for the same people and wasting resources trying to recruit appropriately trained and experienced staff in a current cost of living crisis.

This informal workshop will facilitate discussions to come up with new ideas and approaches to help the sector think differently, and plan more together to recruit and share fantastic staff.

The workshop will cover:

• What works and what doesn't with recruitment methods right now?
• How can we collaborate more and share our workforce?
• What could be a GM wide approach look like?

Target audience: anybody with responsibility for recruitment/management of youth and play workers/sessional staff.
