A free, 3-day gathering for creative thinking, future shaping 13-16s from across Greater Manchester to re-imagine the future of Greater Manchester, taking place in central Manchester on 28, 29, and 30 October.
The aim is to create a safe, supported space where young people can:
- Explore the big issues shaping their lives
- Share ideas and reimagine the future of Greater Manchester
- Build confidence, skills and positive connections across the city region
Practicalities:
- Free food and snacks provided
- Travel costs reimbursed
- Fully facilitated and safeguarding-led
The event is organised by the Roots Programme CIC team, founded and led by award-winning educator and social entrepreneur Dr Ruth Ibegbuna. Roots was set up to bridge divides and create spaces where people can connect, be curious, and collaborate. In the current UK climate, where divisions can feel especially sharp, this work feels more vital than ever.
