The Pride network at Computacenter, a leading independent technology and services provider, are looking to support groups that work in any way with the LGBTQIA+ community in Greater Manchester. They are offering skills-based volunteering on Friday 28th August at their offices in Salford Quays. Topics they will be able to provide support around include:
- Project Management – e.g. to talk about how you can improve this with an existing project, or learn skills and methods to support future projects
- Bid management – e.g. to discuss areas linked to process of researching, writing, and submitting competitive proposals to secure funding from trusts, foundations, or local authorities
- Marketing and Sales
- How to find free or low-cost software to improve systems
- Building relationships with corporates – e.g. how to develop your offer, how to find connections in businesses
- Digital fundraising
- AI – any insights into its use
They also have a few volunteers who are administrators who cannot offer expertise in the above areas but would be willing to do more manual tasks for you.
