Basic Bike Maintenance Course

 Course overview:

  • Checking and adjusting parts of a bike
  • Fixing punctures

Course format:

  • One qualified instructor will deliver the course in an outdoor location.
  • We’ll provide tools and equipment for you to practice with. Bring your own bike, or we can provide if needed.
  • This is a group course and there will be other participants also learning basic bike maintenance. Minimum number of participants is usually three and maximum is six.
  • For ages 12+ (participants aged 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times).

Important:

E-bikes and bikes with hydraulic brakes are welcome however they are often more complex than a standard bike and the instructor may not be able to address all areas of maintenance in this course.
