Steps to Safety walk, a 15km walk to raise vital funds for survivors of domestic abuse. The walk is a 15km (9.38 miles) walk from Manchester City Centre to Altrincham, meeting at Castlefield Bowl then finishing in Altrincham.
This 15km walk was chosen to reflect the 1 woman who is killed by an abusive partner or ex every 5 days, a statistic that reminds us of all just how important literal life-saving services like Manchester Women’s Aid are.
The tickets are £25 to cover costs of the day (remaining amounts will be added to the total fundraising sum). Manchester Women's Aid are also asking attendees to help the walk make a further difference and set up a JustGiving page to send to their families and friends to help raise money for life saving services.
