In this webinar, Friends, Families and Travellers will examine the barriers Gypsy and Traveller people face when accessing services, explore the social context behind these challenges, and share practical strategies to help make services more inclusive and accessible.

This session provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and gain insight into the lived experiences of Gypsy and Traveller communities.

The training session will include:

  • An exploration of Gypsy and Traveller histories
  • Census statistics and YouGov data
  • Key insights into common barriers to access faced by these communities
  • Recommendations and examples of good practice
  • Information on healthcare, accommodation, and discrimination
  • Interactive polls and a live Q&A session

This webinar will be delivered by staff with lived experience. This session provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and gain insight into the lived experiences of Gypsy and Traveller communities.

All attendees will receive the presentation slides and additional resources to support continued learning. Participants will also receive a certificate upon completion.
