Do you want to improve health equity and drive systemic change in Greater Manchester?
Across England, people from Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic communities face significantly worse health outcomes than white people. These gaps are driven by structural racism, shaping the conditions in which people are born, grow, work and age.
The Race Equality Foundation is launching a 5-year programme to tackle health inequalities, starting with establishing an Anti-Racism Collaborative (ARC) that empowers local communities to drive transformative systems change.
In Greater Manchester, the Race Equality Foundation are looking for a local Black, Asian or minoritised ethnic-led VCSE to host the ARC. You must have the trust and reach in the community to bring together partners and help deliver innovative solutions to the health issues in the area.
This is a paid commission for a five-year partnership with the Race Equality Foundation. To find out more information, contact our programme coordinator, Nomusa Okorie, at nomusa@racefound.org.uk
