Free Community Reporter training!

What do you think makes up the Spirit of Manchester?

Through the Big Lottery’s Celebrate fund, we will be training individuals from across the city to tell the story of how their community, activity or organisation and the work being done there adds to the spirit of Manchester. All training, resources and refreshments are provided and those taking part will have the opportunity to become part of the Europe wide network of Community Reporters: https://communityreporter.net. The films made will be shown at five fun screening events across the city in a Spirit of Manchester roadshow.

Would you like to be involved?
You don’t need any previous filming experience but you will need to be connected to a community group/organisation in Manchester. If you are not already connected to a group we can help you identify one to work with to capture the story of their contribution to the spirit of Manchester. We want a variety of stories showing the breadth of activity happening across the city so if we have already accepted a group with the same idea as yours I'm afraid we won't be able to include you in the project.

You will need to be available to attend two days of training on either Tuesday 7 February and 21 February or Wednesday 8 February and 22 February 2017

If you are interested in being involved or would like more information contact Hannah or Sefton at Macc, on 0161 834 9823, or email: [email protected] [email protected]

Deadline: 11 January 2017

(If you have applied before there is no need to apply again we have kept your details)
