Be part of Spirit of Manchester Story Week 2017

Are you a Manchester voluntary sector organisation? Spirit of Manchester Story

Would you like to share a story of your activity to be promoted as part of Spirit of Manchester Story Week in September?

Spirit of Manchester Story Week is a great way of sharing the extraordinary everyday work of the Manchester voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. The first Story Week was held last year and we captured 32 stories from 30 organisations. These included activities such as a community café, working with children and distributing food to people and communities across the city. These were shared widely on social media including by supporters such as Manchester City Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group.

In Manchester, there are over 3,000 voluntary sector organisations providing a wide range of services across the city and we would like your involvement in showcasing the impact we have on our communities. We will be recording one activity from a range of VCS organisations over the space of a week (18-22 September) which will show the diversity and dedication of the sector in meeting the needs of our city. We will then publicise this information via our website and on social media using the hashtag #SpiritofMcrStory.
