Voices For All are recruiting new trustees for its Board, which offers governance and trategic leadership to the organisation. Voices For All are a mental health and wellbeing charity that provides a wide range of support through our activity groups. The charity began life in 2011 as Rochdale Boroughwide User Forum as a service user led organisation.
Voices For All also ran Voice Forum aimed at providing a platform for views to be aired. The information is then presented to the relevant organisations and those who commission services. In addition, volunteers attended meetings throughout the borough - reporting on their findings from attending the following groups:
• Electroconvulsive Therapy Forum
• Black, Minority and Ethnic Health and Wellbeing Group
• Drug and Alcohol Priority Group
• Suicide Prevention Group
• Autism Strategy Group
Voices For All (formerly RBUF) changed name in 2017 and are based within the Borough of Rochdale (Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale).
Voices For All continue the original activities and have expanded to include the following activity groups:
• Colour Yourself Calm
• Arts and Crafts Group
• Healthy Walks
• Asian LGBT Group
• Creative Writing
• LGBT Group – Coffee Afternoon
To strengthen the Board, Voices For All are particularly keen to recruit new Trustee members with skills and experience in the following:
• Greater Manchester political awareness and understanding
• Strategic development
• Income generation and fundraising
