The purpose of the Resourcing Racial Justice fund is to provide financial support to individuals and organisations that are working to redress the impact of COVID-19 and beyond on those who identify as People of Colour (POC).
POC includes other terms such as BAME, black, indigenous, people of colour (BIPOC).
Individuals can be change-makers, activists, innovators, social leaders, ecosystem builders and artists working outside existing organisational structures.
Organisations can be either incorporated, unincorporated and / or unconstituted e.g. community and grassroots groups/networks/projects.
There are three types of investment:
Supporting Individuals: £5,000 - £30,000
Supporting Organisations - Emergency and Recovery: £5,000 - £30,000
Supporting Organisations - Long Term Structural Change: £30,000 - £50,000
Eligibility
The fund is open to applications from individuals, groups and organisations (of any size), working anywhere in the UK. You must be working to take forward racial justice. No other exclusions apply.
The first round of applications closes on 15 June 2020.
