GM BAME Network and GMCVO have launched a second round of their micro grants. The grants are for small GM BAME led VCSE organisations affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in order to respond to the needs of BAME communities.
Grants are available for GM BAME led VCSE organisations to focus on emergency needs within BAME communities. The grants will fund new activities and services as well as the additional costs of adapting existing services due to Covid-19. The grants will also help counter the loss of fundraising income directly caused by the pandemic.
Micro grants of £50-£1000 are available, with a short, online application form and decisions being made within three weeks of application.
Organisations who have previously received a grant are eligible to apply for a new grant in the second round.
GM BAME Network and GMCVO are holding a Meet the Funder event on 30 November, 10am-11am for groups to hear more about the extension and changes to eligibility for the micro grants and a second small grants round opening in the near future. During the webinar there will be a presentation about the grants and opportunity to ask questions. Click here to register
