The Salam Project workshops

salam projectThe Salam Project is a youth outreach and intervention Social Enterprise working predominantly in the London and Manchester area. The team is DBS checked, and are trained in safeguarding, youth work and mentoring. The Salam Project have been working with young people in various capacities for over 15 years facilitating workshops, mentoring, counselling, tutoring (online/in-person) and outreach work.

  • County lines awareness
  • Stop and search with emotional intelligence prep
  • Black British history
  • British Muslim history
  • Racism/discrimination awareness
  • Extremism/radicalisation awareness
  • Rap therapy and expression (no profanity or disrespectful language)
  • Employability skills – how to get a job?
  • Youth 2 adulthood (growing pains, conflict resolution and emotional intelligence)

The Salam Project can deliver their programmes in person (social distancing observed) or online via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet or Skype.
