Innit 4 Young People CIO, a young people’s charity based in Manchester, are running an online nationwide competition and educational workshop called SnapYourTown. The winner receive a Nikon D3500 DSLR camera worth £500.00, as well as the chance to photograph the production of ‘Innit’ at The Lowry in 2023.
‘SnapYourTown’ provides young people an ‘alternative to education’ platform, where they can be creative, experiment and have some fun. This exciting online project promises to engage, educate and inspire young people between the ages of 11 and 19.
The workshop has been designed to support and enhance, in particular, KS4 students, with links to the AQA and EDEXCEL GCSE specifications.
‘SnapYourTown’ is a fantastic opportunity to whet the photographical appetites of young people and encourage their creative minds.
