Free contraception guide in multiple languages

BHA for Equality has launched a free Guide to Contraception which has been designed by and for Black, Asian and Minoritized women. BHA for Equality are now aiming to get this guide in as many your guide to contraceptionpublic and community spaces, GPs, sexual health clinics and pharmacies as possible.

The guide is available in English, French and Arabic and is currently being translated into Hungarian, Ukrainian and Romanian.

The guide goes through all the different forms of contraception, offers advice about managing side-effects and has a journal section for women to begin reflecting on what they want to get out of their contraception, their health priorities and anything they are concerned about (aka managing mood swings, heavy periods, acne). This has been designed to make them feel prepared for an appointment with a GP or Sexual Health Advisor.
