The Boot Room at Street Soccer Academy

Street Soccer Academy offers FA accredited football coaching environments known as Regional Centres. At these centres individuals will receive coaching sessions delivered by FA qualified coaches football teamwith the opportunity to get hands-on involved in the delivery of the sessions or just simply to participate in the sessions. Each session includes a warm-up, technical session and small-sided game.

These sessions are aimed at men aged 18+ who are seeking to improve their general wellbeing both physical and mental. The ‘Boot Room’ provides safe places where men aged 18+ can talk openly with like-minded peers and mentors. No issues will be off limits and there will be no pressure to talk if just being in a positive environment is all that is needed for a time. Street Soccer Academy operate as part of a mutual aid network so if an individual requires specific support they will endeavour to connect them with the appropriate help via their wrap-around support network.

The Central Manchester session operates weekly from 3.30pm-5pm every Friday at Powerleague Manchester Central, 20 Union Street, Ardwick, Manchester, M12 4JD.

Via the Boot Room Street Soccer Academy accept ‘self’ referrals (or referral from friends and family) for individuals who would benefit from engaging with a form of physical activity, the support of like-minded peers and ongoing wellbeing appraisals. To make a referral call 0739 156 0271.
