Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) have an upcoming opportunity to apply for funding to support refugees as part of the Greater Manchester Refugee Integration Partnership, GMRIP (also known as the Refugee Transitions Outcome Fund, RTOF).
The GMCA is inviting VCFSE organisations who are interested to attend a Market Engagement event on 31 March, 11am-12pm, where the specification will be outlined and discussed in detail. The event will be held over Microsoft Teams.
GMCA are seeking quotations from organisations who can deliver services that support one or more of the following objectives for GMRIP service users, all of whom are recently recognised refugees:
- Access to suitable English language education is increased
- GMRIP service users can access affordable housing and sustain it
- GMRIP service users have access to volunteering and community participation opportunities that support wellbeing, community connection and/or employment and skills goals
GMCA aim to fund the delivery of projects across all 10 GM Local Authorities. The maximum budget available for bids which provide services to GMRIP service users across two or more boroughs is £30,000 whilst the maximum budget for single-borough bids is £15,000. All contracts must be delivered within a 7-month period from 1 June 2023 - 31 March 2024.
