Blagrave Trust's new Pathways Fund

Blagrave Trust has launched the Pathways Fund. It's for youth-led groups of any legal status who are working to change unjust laws, policies, practices, and cultures that have directly affected a blue bag with a yellow ribbon around the top and white pound sign on the fronttheir lives and the communities of those they share these experiences with.

The Pathways Fund offers grants totalling £60,000 - £90,000 over three years (£20,000 -£30,000 per year) to emergent youth-led groups and collectives across England.

Funding is unrestricted, meaning that grant partners can use their grant money on whatever they think will help them best achieve their goals, as long as this is within charity law and for public benefit.

In the past grant partners have used this funding for:

  • Employing new staff
  • Paying existing staff/volunteers
  • Developing and improving their internal operations and governance
  • Bringing in consultants to support their work
  • Lobbying and campaigning costs
  • Delivery costs

As well as unrestricted funding, Pathways Fund Grant Partners will gain access to the following additional support:

  • Quarterly catch-ups with a Youth Led Change Lead
  • Training on charity law and safeguarding (if needed)
  • Invitation to our annual Youth Led Change Day
  • Resource pack (to be developed in 2024)
