Alastair has leadership experience that is riven with authenticity in the trenches after over 5 years as a CEO of a national charity, facilitating leadership support and development. He has been developing leadership teams from large household names to small businesses and charities, using his leadership experience, humour and approachable manner to inspire and inform growth.

Alastair helps organisations achieve their charitable objectives using facilitation and coaching, enabling leaders to get the best out of themselves and those who work with them.

As CEO of 4CT I have 25+ years management experience in the voluntary sector including managing youth and community services, community facilities and quality assurance of community based services. Worked across England supporting community centres and helping groups with all aspects of development including job evaluations, business plans, funding applications etc.

I have over 20 years experience as an independent consultant with a proven track record of facilitating sustainable organisational and community change in the voluntary/community and public sector.

I have particular expertise in collaborative and asset based approaches to change designed to maximise engagement of all stakeholder communities, and building and maintaining effective partnerships within and between third sector organisations, the NHS, and local authorities.

I have been working as an organisational development consultant and trainer in the voluntary and community sector since 1995 – mainly in the Greater Manchester area.
