The Hilden Charitable Fund - Summer Play Schemes

The Hilden Charitable Fund has allocated a small budget to help community groups run summer play schemes for disadvantaged communities. Some priority will be given to projects which show they are inclusive of children from refugee families, and show BME involvement.

The Trustees are looking to fund:
• Projects for children aged 5 to 18 years
• Locally based schemes lasting from 2 to 6 weeks

Local Sustainability Fund: 2016 awards

The Local Sustainability Fund, administered by the Big Lottery Fund, is providing up to £20 million of government funding to high-impact VCSE organisations. It is targeting small to medium-sized VCSE organisations with an income of between £100,000 to £1.5 million a year, and which provide vital services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

People’s Health Trust Funding – Active Communities

Using money raised by society lotteries through The Health Lottery, People's Health Trust has opened Active Communities in HealthForm – Manchester, Trafford, Salford and Stockport.

Fourteen - funding available in Harpurhey and Moston

Fourteen is a programme funded by Spirit of 2012, a charity set up by the Big Lottery Fund to connect events to communities across the country; tackling disadvantage by supporting opportunities in sport, physical activity, culture and the arts, volunteering and social action.

Forever Manchester is managing the Fourteen programme in Manchester, where it will support the communities of Harpurhey and Moston.

Friends of Wythenshawe Hall are raising £250,000 to repair the much loved Wythenshawe Hall that was damaged due to a fire in the early hours of Tuesday 15 March.

Friends of Wythenshawe Hall are a group of like-minded people who have a passion for Wythenshawe Hall and park who come from all walks of life, in fact one of the members, Richard Jackson, the current Chair of the committee, is a direct descendant of the Tatton family.
