AI: Its uses, impacts and opportunities for the charity sector

Date & time: 05 February 2025, 10:00am - 3:00pm
Venue
St Thomas Centre, Manchester, M12 6FZ

Join the National Lottery Community Fund and CAST to understand more about AI and what it could do for you and your organisation. Receive full support alongside your peers to identify a small experiment with free to use tools that you can try out back at work, and then return to share your experiences and pick up some new tools from others.

The event will share examples from other charities who are using AI to increase their impact, as well as sharing some of the challenges and concerns they’ve encountered. It will be a practical session where we’ll have hands-on demonstrations and stories - and focus on practical support for your organisation.

The sessions will run on two days with a month in between to support participants to explore AI and consider how it can be used to enhance your organisation's reach, efficiency, and impact. Through hands-on demonstrations, expert talks, and stories from other charities, we’ll explore the implications of AI on our missions and work.

Session 1 - 5th February, 10am - 3pm, St Thomas Centre, Manchester, M12 6FZ
Session 2 - 5th March, 10am - 3pm, St Thomas Centre, Manchester, M12 6FZ
