Climate Action in Manchester's VCSE Sector: Building equity, collaboration, and resilience

Date & time: 25 June 2025, 10:00am - 1:00pm
Venue
St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester, M12 6FZ

The Policy and Influence Team at Macc warmly invite you to join us on the 25th of June, from 10am to 1pm at the St Thomas Centre for the launch of our colleague Michaux Danzoll’s impact research on the landscape of climate action within Manchester’s VCSE sector. This event aims to explore the key barriers faced by organisations in engaging with climate work and to identify opportunities for collaboration and targeted support that can help mitigate the impacts of the climate crisis on our neighborhoods and communities, particularly through an inequality lens.

We will highlight inspiring projects already underway in the city and discuss how we can foster learning, partnership and innovative solutions to build a more resilient, inclusive, and equitable approach to climate action.

- Kieron McGlasson (CEO, Sow the City)

- Dr Katherine Lowe (Programme and Partnerships Manager, In Our Nature/ Manchester Climate Change Agency)
