GM4Women2028's Pankhurst-Fawcett Scorecard Data Reveal and Celebration is the 8th annual event – a free, two-hour online gathering to explore what the latest data tells them about gender equality in Greater Manchester and what needs to happen next.
Each year, the Pankhurst–Fawcett Scorecard examines the lived realities of women and girls across the city region, tracking ten key indicators using trusted national data and academic research. The Scorecard doesn’t just measure change – helps GM4Women2028 understand where progress is being made, where it’s uneven and where collective effort is urgently needed.
At this event, GM4Women2028 will unveil the 2026 Scorecard findings and take a deeper dive into five core thematic areas: employment, safety, participation, education, and culture and active lives. Through interactive breakout discussions, you’ll have space to reflect on the data, share lived experience and connect with others who care about creating a fairer, safer and more equal Greater Manchester.
The programme will be interspersed with contributions from elected representatives and creative performances, creating moments for reflection, learning and renewed determination.
This event is open to everyone – women, girls and male allies – whether you’re working in policy, community organising, research, campaigning or simply want to learn and contribute.
