Housing Rights – Supporting private tenants facing rent increases

The Renters Rights act will make it easier to challenge rent rises for rent private sector tenants – let's make rents affordable again.

Since Covid Rents across Greater Manchester have gone up in some cases by 100% and yet salaries and benefits have remained stagnant.

This will be on an online briefing session about the new laws and support available to help Tenants contest Rent Rises in the Private Rented Sector. Greater Manchester Law Centre will go through the law, how to use it and the wider campaign to make rents affordable again. This will involve local support, events and information that you can use to support tenants facing unaffordable rent increases.
