An event brought to you from The Greater Manchester Alternative Provider Collaborative (GMAPC) and 10GM in partnership with Respect for All. This lunch and learn session intends to offer an antidote to the conversations emerging across Greater Manchester surrounding ‘economic inactivity’.
Much energy/funding is being pumped into ‘fixing’ individuals and making them more attractive to employers. This space aims to explore a little about how and where employers can meet individuals where they are and indeed celebrate, nurture and maximise the existing assets a person possesses.
Speakers:
- Ian McArthur – Director The GM Good Employment Charter offering an introduction to The Good Employment Charter Code of Practice
- Cat Mills – Training Coordinator at Respect For All discussing how to create neuro-affirming workplace
- Franky Procter – Programme Manager GMAPC discussing benefits of hiring on potential before experience for both employee and employer through the lens of lived experience
