Your health. Your questions. Your choice.
Be/Here are bringing parents, carers and young people together for a welcoming day of learning, conversation and creativity.
With LGBTQIA+ families and the community at the heart of the day, Be/Here will make space for questions about health, cancer screening and HPV, alongside stalls and creative activities.
What’s happening
Workshops for parents and carers: explore cancer risks, screening options and the questions or worries that can come with looking after your health.
HPV conversations for young people: age-appropriate, inclusive conversations with space to ask questions and find reliable information.
Information stalls: browse resources and find out about support.
Arts and crafts: get creative, connect with others and enjoy activities alongside the health conversations.
Be/Here know health conversations can bring up uncertainty or anxiety. Be/Here’s approach is welcoming, inclusive and centred on choice. You can ask questions, listen or take part in the creative activities without being expected to share personal experiences.
Whether you’re a parent or carer looking for clearer information, a young person curious about HPV, or a family wanting to learn together, Be/Here would love you to join them.
