This forum provides an opportunity to hear from leading expert Dr Sophie King-Hill, who will explore contemporary understandings of masculinity and consider how professionals can better understand, engage and support young men and boys. The session will encourage reflection on the challenges facing young people today and the importance of creating environments where healthy, positive expressions of masculinity can thrive.

This thought-provoking session will be relevant to any professional working with children and families in Manchester.

Frontline practitioners play a vital role in safeguarding children and young people. Join colleagues from across Manchester for an important discussion on how changing understandings of masculinity can influence the experiences, behaviours and wellbeing of young men and boys.

Share knowledge and learning and explore different professional perspectives. By attending, you will strengthen your safeguarding practice, enhance multi-agency understanding, and help improve outcomes for children and families.
