Manchester VCSE Sector Live Well Discussion Space
Live Well is Greater Manchester’s commitment to ensuring great everyday support is available in every neighbourhood.
A partnership between GMCA, NHS GM Integrated Care and the VCSE sector across Greater Manchester to ensure people get the support they need, at the right time, in the right place through:
· A network of Live Well centres and spaces
· Equal, connected and consistent support offers - bringing together the best of our public services and local VCSE groups
· A ‘Live Well workforce’ able to collectively pull support around individuals, families and communities in a way that responds to their unique needs and builds on strengths.
· Moving from a fragmented welfare system to a proactive, preventative, community-led model
Macc will be holding sessions during June and July to discuss how the Live Well idea is developing in in Manchester and for sector colleagues to think through collaboratively what we would like to see. The session will start with Macc sharing what we currently know and then open up for discussions and ideas.
There are three sessions planned – it’s impossible to find one time which everyone can make, so we have set up three spaces where sector colleagues can join the discussion over the coming weeks. The aim is to create an opportunity where people can join at least one of the spaces. Macc will share insights across the sessions as the conversation in the sector develops.
The sessions will all be online via Zoom. Ideally, we would organise some in person spaces as well but recognising the pressures on everyone’s time, we feel this is the best way to maximise the opportunity for as many people as possible to take part. Find booking details below.
