The Ubele Initiative presents the Phambili Funding Workshop Series, a set of three one-day training sessions designed to help Black and Racially Minoritised (BRM) community groups across England develop effective bid-writing skills. This series is tailored for organisations with an income of £250k or less, equipping them with the confidence and competence to secure funding successfully.

What to Expect
The intensive workshop will provide:

  • A deep dive into bid writing fundamentals
  • Practical strategies for crafting compelling applications
  • Hands-on experience with Lottery’s Awards for All funding applications
  • Insights into the Theory of Change approach
  • 1-2-1 follow-up support to refine and review applications before submission

This workshop is ideal for BRM-led organisations and grassroots groups with annual income of £250,00 or less, looking to strengthen their bid writing and fundraising skills to support community projects.
