Race Network Leads and Future Leads – Get Ready for Black History Month and ESEA Heritage Month

In your workplaces, your colleagues will come from a range of different backgrounds and cultures, and when we talk about addressing race inequality, each person’s needs and experiences are different. To support you supporting your colleagues, Race Network Leads and Future Leads are running their second annual get ready for:

• Black History Month (October)
• ESEA Heritage Month and dates (September)
• South Asian Heritage Month (18 July – 17 August)

This gives you plenty of time to prepare. 

This is where organisations and changemakers get together to discuss and share ideas and thoughts regarding 3 key events in our diversity diaries.

You will:

• Hear from expert speakers from all the communities who will share what works and give you ideas so you can plan and make sure you have impactful months
• Hear how one organisation delivered an unforgettable South Asian Heritage Month.
  Black History Month 2025 theme is "Standing Firm in Power and Pride,". You will collaborate with peers to make it impactful for your organisation.
• Be inspired by a changemaker from the ESEA community and discover how your organisation can be a true ally to this often-overlooked group
• Meet, collaborate, and exchange ideas with other changemakers in virtual discussion groups.
• Take part in interactive polls and hear the state-of-the-nation poll results
• Gain access to 50+ insights and ideas report so you can plan your months
