Join Groundwork’s Sustainability Consultants at for a special Sustainability Shorts webinar designed specifically for the charity and VCSE sector.
This webinar aims to help VCSE leaders and managers understand what “Net Zero” means, identify typical carbon emission categories for charities, set a Net Zero target, and begin reducing emissions, even when there are 101 other priorities and limited resources.
Why Groundwork?
Groundwork are a team of business consultants working within Groundwork, a federation of charities taking action on poverty and the environment across the UK. Because Groundwork are a charity, they understand the challenges that organisations face when asked to understand, manage, and reduce emissions. In this webinar, Groundwork will speak openly about the challenges they have faced, past and current, and share how they have addressed them.
In addition to supporting the Groundwork federation with greenhouse gas reporting, Groundwork have extensive experience working with national and local charities such as the RSPCA, the Woodland Trust and the Vipassana Trust.
Groundwork also support the sector through grant programmes. Last year, Groundwork led the DCMS VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme: our Sustainability Consultants conducted numerous energy-efficiency audits and made low-carbon technology recommendations, and their Grants team distributed £18.3 million in funding to 320 community organisations to support capital measures for reducing carbon emissions.
