Date & time: 10 March 2026, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Venue
Hyatt Regency Manchester, 55 Booth Street West, Manchester, M15 6PQ

An unconference exploring the intersection of AI, ethics, and public engagement.

Join for a day-long unconference in Manchester, delivered in partnership with Manchester City Council and Digital Futures, exploring how artificial intelligence can be implemented responsibly and inclusively to benefit everyone.

This event will bring together public sector leaders, academics and civic tech practitioners to:

  • Shape local and regional priorities for responsible AI adoption
  • Identify where AI can deliver real public and social value
  • Connect research, policy and practice to turn ideas into action
  • Give communities a voice in shaping inclusive AI

The unconference model encourages collaboration and co-creation. Participants will set the agenda for the day, creating space for open discussion and shared learning around the challenges and opportunities people care about the most.

Who should attend?
The unconference wants to hear from a broad range of voices, and would welcome contributions from the general public, community groups, academics, charities, public-facing organisations, local government, and industry. The goal is to create a space where everyone contributes to the conversation equitably.
