The purpose of the Vaccination Partnership Board (VPB) is to ensure ‘whole system’ ownership of the Covid Vaccination Programme in Manchester, strengthening the collective system governance of the programme and ensuring coordination with related vaccination programmes.

1,000 plasma donations are needed every week to save the lives of people with rare immune diseases. Plasma donation is safe and easy, it doesn’t take long, and you can help people more often. There are 11 plasma donor centres.
Investments of up to £5,000 are available to VCSE sector organisations from across Greater Manchester to undertake projects to boost cancer screening rates amongst under-represented groups.
Priority groups for this round of funding:
A brand new innovative and inclusive project for Adults in Greater Manchester; who may be finding it difficult to return to the great outdoors and would like to explore the natural environment helping to improve wellbeing, and communication skills whilst making new friends. Whether they have learning, mobility or physical disabilities, mental health needs or would just like to meet new friends…everyone is welcome!
The Family Mile programme aims to support and connect communities, empowering them to help one another and to be more active, together, through doing ‘their mile, their way’. Regardless of fitness level, health status, ability, or age, The Mason Foundation provide the starting point, that gentle nudge into fun, easy to do, regular activity.
Does your organisation or group need support to grow your peer support activities?
The Greater Manchester Peer Support Innovation Grant is designed to support new or smaller peer support groups with innovative ways of introducing peer support to the community. Applicants can apply for a grant of up to £250 towards their project or event (from a total available funding pot of £2500).

Local Artists from Manchester’s pioneering mental health charity TLC-St Luke’s gathered in Swinton Grove Park to launch The Memory Book, a collection of the work they produced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This prize draw will support 422, a community project in Manchester. 422 has a long history of being a space where people come together. Once a library, youth centre, and now after years of standing empty, the plan is for 422 to become a Community Hub in an area that experiences some of the highest levels of deprivation in the UK.
