When money is limited, and people have to choose between whether to pay for their heating or food, it is often the case that they are going without other basic but essential items too, like shampoo, washing powder and period products. Not having access to period products can have an impact on mental health and wellbeing, and negatively affect overall self-confidence.

The Charity Service – Cinderella Fund

the charity serviceThe Cinderella Fund can be used by groups or individuals to support the cost of a short respite holiday, day trip or activity for disabled, sick, convalescent or disadvantaged children whose family are unable to afford the cost. Grants are available to residents who live within the geographical areas of Greater Manchester, East Lancashire, North East Cheshire and North West Derbyshire.

Communities Addressing Gambling Harms in Greater Manchester

gmcaCommunities Addressing Gambling Harms is part of the Greater Manchester (GM) Gambling Harm Reduction programme which seeks to prevent and reduce gambling related harms across the city-region. This programme includes activities to: build understanding of gambling harms, improve provision and access to treatment and support, develop preventative interventions and engage with local individuals and communities to co-design change.
