Description: Stitched Up started in 2011, with the aim of encouraging individuality, pride and sustainability, and community wellness through fashion and style. Today we are a non-profit cooperative, who run craft, fashion & upcycling workshops. As well as upcycling workshops, we offer drop-in sessions, clothes swap parties, sewing machine hire, social gatherings and educational events that provide an alternative to the chain stores of your average British high street. We're mainly based in Chorlton, our home since the beginning of 2014, and we do take our workshops into other local communities in and around Manchester. Our HQ is a community space for crafters, makers and tinkerers to share skills and ideas in a supportive environment.
