2022 Our Year is a year for young people and children in Manchester. Working with partners, ambassadors and supporters, 2022: Our Year will create opportunities, experiences and resources that together will build a safe, happy, healthy and successful future for Manchester’s children and young people and contribute to Manchester’s goal of becoming a UNICEF-recognised Child Friendly City. This week is a soft launch for the Our Year campaign to raise the profile of the project amongst Manchester’s residents, and to provide a call to action for council services, partner organisations and the wider Manchester community to support the campaign. As part of this Manchester City Council are sending out supporter packs to partner organisations to ask for help to share updates about the campaign through your channels.
The project team is looking for ways that they can work together with partners, charities and other organisations across the city, to develop the programme of activities, events and opportunities for children and young people throughout the year.
