Are you interested in film-making? Would you like to develop some practical film-making skills? Want to work with an award-winning filmmaker to create unique and original films which will make a real difference? Do you have something to say about your mood or well-being? Film 42 is recruiting young Black men aged 16-20 years old to take part in an exciting new project, aimed at exploring the themes of mood and well-being. 42nd Street

Responding to the We Tell You Report 42nd Street published in 2017, 42nd Street are working to create original films which will form part of a national campaign to change the way mental health services for young Black men are designed and delivered.

42nd Street are holding a series of exciting workshops at 42nd Street (42nd Street, the Space, 87-91 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester, M4 5AG), where you will have the opportunity to:
• Develop your own film making ideas
• Have your say
• Have hands on practice with professional film making equipment
• Meet and be inspired by Black film makers
• Be at the heart of a cutting edge, brand new film project

Workshops will be happening on the following dates:
• Tuesday 9 April 2019
• Wednesday 10 April 2019
• Thursday 11 April 2019
All workshops will take place from 11am-3pm.
