FutureYou is free, personalised support for 18-24 year olds not in education, employment or training (NEET) in Greater Manchester.
Young people don’t always get the right opportunities to enhance their lives or progress their careers, which is why many 18-24 year olds are currently out of work and not in full time education, and many employers are missing out on their untapped talent.
Ingeus delivers FutureYou across Greater Manchester with a specialist partner network. Collectively, the partners work with organisations and employers to break down barriers and help young people progress into local opportunities.
FutureYou is designed around each young person and uses a mix of in-person, telephone and online support. Each young person gets a dedicated mentor to work with them throughout their programme. Support includes:
- Employability skills
- CVs and application forms
- Skills and training workshops
- Access to work experience and job vacancies
- Health and wellbeing
- Community projects and volunteering
The programme connects local employers with young people to create talent matches for successful employment outcomes, including work placements and work experience opportunities.
