GiveGetGo! is a free six session programme exploring volunteering opportunities and offering hands-on volunteering experience for young people.
GiveGetGo! is for anyone aged 16 to 19 from the Harpurhey and Charlestown areas of North Manchester, and is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about volunteering, gain some experience and learn new skills for their CV.
Volunteer opportunities are chosen by participants and could include working with animals, arts-based projects, fundraising, working with elderly people and much more.
In addition to this, all GiveGetGo! groups will have access to a £200 fund, and support to create their own community volunteering project.
GiveGetGo! is funded until Summer 2014 and will be delivered to existing groups (youth centres, education projects etc) and also to groups of individuals.
