Help with food costs while schools are closed

The Government has implemented a Covid Summer Food Fund to cover the summer holiday period when schools will be closed.

All parents and carers of eligible children should contact their school to receive free school meal vouchers via this scheme. Information about the national Covid Summer Food Fund

Eligible students in further education
The Government is also providing additional funding to enable FE institutions to continue to provide meals over the 2020 summer holiday to students eligible for free meals in FE in the 2019 to 2020 academic year. Find out more here
