Serious violence and exploitation can affect any child or young person. Join Manchester Safeguarding Partnership during the Lives Not Knives Week of Action to increase your understanding of risk factors, early intervention, and the role professionals play in keeping children and young people safe.
The Week of Action runs from Monday 9 November to Friday 13 November 2026. A core awareness session will take place each day from 9.30am to 10.30am via Microsoft Teams. The same core session is repeated daily, so delegates only need to book one date. There will also be additional sessions during the week, providing opportunities to hear from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and other partners about how they are tackling knife crime across the City of Manchester.
