Research Participants Wanted – UCL Study on Castlefield

My name is Hema Harshini, and I am an MSc Urban Design and City Planning student at University College London (UCL). As part of my Major Research Project, I am researching the long-term social and spatial impacts of heritage-led regeneration in Castlefield.

I am seeking to speak with residents, community groups, local stakeholders, business owners, and others with knowledge or experience of Castlefield. The research explores how conservation, regeneration, and wider urban change have influenced everyday life, community identity, local activity, and the long-term vitality of this historic area.

Participation would involve a short informal interview lasting approximately 30–45 minutes, conducted either online or in person. All participation is voluntary, and the study is being conducted in accordance with UCL's ethical and data protection requirements.
