This training has been specifically designed for voluntary and community sector organisations.

Developed by the Carbon Literacy Project and the Our Manchester Funds team, this training has been specifically designed for voluntary and community sector organisations.

It will give you an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.

Important: Participants must complete and submit an action plan form as well as attending the full day's training. The action plan can be submitted to the team via email up to 2 weeks after the training. Participants will only be certified as Carbon Literate once their action plan has been approved by the Carbon Literacy Project.

Please note that this event is for North Manchester Community, Voluntary, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations ONLY. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you are not an organisation working or based in North Manchester. The term ‘North Manchester’ is used to include the following wards and includes some wards of East Manchester: Ancoats & Beswick, Charlestown, Cheetham, Clayton & Openshaw, Crumpsall, Harpurhey, Higher Blackley, Miles Platting & Newton Heath, Moston. Please only book one ticket per organisation, to allow space for other organisations.
