Join Women’s Resource Centre for their in-person CEDAW event in Manchester. You will have the chance to contribute to the civil society report (List of Issues) Women’s Resource Centre are submitting to the CEDAW Committee.

The Women’s Resource Centre is hosting a series of lively, free, regional gatherings to hear directly from women and women’s organisations about the challenges you face and the changes you want to see.

Your voice matters. What you share will help shape the UK's report to the UN Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) – the key international treaty that holds governments to account on women’s equality and rights.

Now more than ever, we need a united voice on the realities of women’s lives and the issues that affect us all. Together, we’ll decide the shortlist of top-line priorities to take forward to government. Speaking with one voice on strategic issues sends a powerful message to decision-makers

This event is open to all women's organisations and allies who have a common goal of advancing equality and human rights for women and girls.

Who should attend? Women with lived experience, grassroots women’s groups, frontline women’s services, and allies who want to influence policy change.
