A.C.T. (Analyse. Campaign. Transform.) is a new leadership development programme for 16-25 year olds from Greater Manchester delivered by Rekindle and funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation Kinship Programme.
Later this year, Rekindle will merge with The Roots Programme and Northern Soul to form The Rekindle Collective, bringing together three organisations with a shared commitment to advancing social and racial justice, educational equality and community power.
As the Rekindle Collective begin this exciting new chapter, they are building a youth activism movement from the ground up. A.C.T. is an opportunity for a powerhouse group of young people to work with the Rekindle Collective to co-design a youth strategy rooted in compassionate critical thinking. Their strategy will shape and lead the direction of The Rekindle Collective's youth activism work.
Through a series of creative workshops and online masterclasses, participants will develop their confidence, leadership and critical thinking skills. Their ideas will inform how the future youth programmes are designed and delivered. A short film will be created to platform their voice and vision which will serve as a lasting resource and reference for The Rekindle Collective’s continued work. Participants will receive a £500 honorarium for their time, commitment and engagement with the project.
There are 8 places open to 16-25 year olds living in Greater Manchester
