Join the MSP Children's Forum for safeguarding updates, shared learning and multi-agency practice discussions. The Manchester Safeguarding Partnership (MSP) Children's Forum brings together professionals from across the partnership to share learning, explore emerging issues, and strengthen multi-agency approaches to safeguarding children and families across Manchester.
Each forum session focuses on high-priority safeguarding areas and emerging local themes. Key speakers and subject matter experts are invited to share insights, outline effective multi-agency safeguarding responses, and explore practical approaches to supporting and protecting children and families in our communities.
This session will examine how ideas about masculinity can shape behaviour. We'll consider how professionals can move better support boys and young men to develop healthy, positive identities.
The forum offers an opportunity to:
- Learn about current children's safeguarding issues and emerging practice developments.
- Hear from expert speakers and gain insights into effective safeguarding approaches.
- Share learning and good practice with partners from across Manchester.
- Strengthen multi-agency understanding and collaboration to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Network with colleagues from across the safeguarding partnership.
Professionals from education, health, social care, policing, housing, voluntary and community organisations, and other partner agencies are welcome to attend.
