Macc has been asked to put forward a number of equalities representatives for the new Manchester Leaders Forum.
Manchester Leaders Forum
This Forum provides strategic leadership to the wider partnership on the delivery of the city’s priorities of growth, people and place as set out in the Community Strategy. Members of the Forum will be leaders in their field who are motivated to work together to drive forward the city’s priorities and to provide leadership to the wider partnership.
Voluntary and Community Sector membership of the Forum
In addition to a general representation on behalf of the Voluntary Sector Assembly, we have an opportunity to put forward a number of participants from the voluntary and community sector with a remit around equalities.
It will not be possible to have one person for each “equality strand” so we have developed the following short specification in order to select participants who can be given a mandate by the sector and held to account for delivering it.
Please see below to read more information about the work of the Forum and the person specification of the equalities representatives.
If you are interested in the opportunity, please provide a short summary (max 2 sides of A4) outlining how your skills and experience meet the person specification and return it by 5pm on 15 April, by email to: [email protected] or by post to: Macc, 3rd Floor, Swan Buildings, 20 Swan Street, Manchester, M4 1LE.
If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to an informal one to one with the selection panel at Macc on the 22 April at a time between 4pm and 7pm.
Please get in touch if you or someone you know would like this information in an alternative format.
