Are you a women’s organisation wanting to make your voice heard? Rosa’s Voices from the Frontline offers grants of up to £5,000 to women's organisations of all sizes for advocacy, campaigning and activism.
Voices from the Frontline supports women’s organisations to shine a light on their fight for gender equality in the UK.
Throughout history, every single advance for women’s rights and gender equality – including property ownership, access to education, equal pay and reproductive rights - has only ever been achieved by bold, brave women becoming informed, getting organised, mobilising others and taking action to tackle injustice and inequality head-on. Rosa want to fund this work! Rosa believe change comes about when women who have lived experience of injustice and inequality get heard, especially women facing intersecting disadvantages including race, class, sexuality, disability, poverty or migration status.
This programme offers grants of £500-£5,000 to support charitable campaigning work across Rosa’s four pillars (leadership and representation, safety, health and economic justice).
Rosa are looking for new voices to stand up and take action. Together we can make change happen faster. The programme aims to:
- Support campaigning, advocacy and activists working across any one of Rosa’s four pillars
- Amplify the voices of individual women at the Frontline of grassroots work in the UK
- Support work which can, long-term, tackle the underlying causes of a problem women face
- Nurture talent. Activism driven by inspiring, committed leaders can achieve remarkable results
The first three rounds of Voices from the Frontline have supported organisations and campaigns like the Good Night Out Campaign, an organisation working to change how licensed organisations deal with gendered violence and sexual harassment; Yorkshire Sound Women to lobby the music industry for better opportunities for women; and Women in Sport, to launch a campaign about the visibility of sporting role models for women. To date, Voices from the Front Line has supported more than 60 grassroots and national women’s organisations across the UK.
