Comic Relief believes women and girls should have equal power and agency in decision-making at all levels. One of the ways in which Comic Relief have been working towards this vision since they began is through funding organisations working to end gender-based violence.
Young Manchester are delighted to partner with Manchester Community Safety Partnership to launch the Keeping Children and Young People Safe in Manchester grants. Grants of up to £25,000 are available for organisations in the VCSE sector who want to explore and evidence approaches to tackling violence which impacts on children and young people.
Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is investing £1.061m over 2 years into an Older People fund. The primary aim of the fund is to increase the health and well-being of older people in every one of the 12 neighbourhoods of Manchester.

Community organisations across England can now apply for grants of up to £35,000 to help young people have a say in how community spaces are managed. The Fund is expected to make up to eight grants, available for one year. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to re-apply for up to two years' further funding, to build on their learning and focus on sustaining their impact.

Funding is available for projects of up to 12 months in length ranging from £500 up to £20,000 in Scotland, England and Wales.
Accelerate is a 12-month programme run by the EY Foundation for social entrepreneurs under 30 and/or social enterprises focused on supporting young people into education, employment or enterprise. The programme is open to enterprises across London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
