Manchester Safeguarding Partnership are excited to announce their first Joint Children's and Adults Forum in person.

This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues across Manchester working with children, adults and families.

The Joint Children’s and Adults’ Safeguarding Forum acts as a bridge between frontline multi‑agency practitioners and the strategic work of the Manchester Safeguarding Partnership Board.

Its aim is to bring together practitioners from across agencies in a safe environment where they can:

  • Discuss and reflect openly on safeguarding practice
  • Appropriately challenge and influence multi‑agency approaches
  • Share and embed learning from Children’s SCRs and Adults’ SARs
  • Consider updates to national and local guidance and policy, and
  • Strengthen collaboration across children’s and adults’ services

Agenda 
10am-12.30pm Presentations on Child Sexual Abuse and Chemsex and discussion/activities on Professional Curiosity and spotting signs of sexual abuse
12.30pm-1.30pm Lunch and networking
